Here's How Much A Thanksgiving Meal Costs In Virginia

Wondering how much you're going to shell out to feed the family this Thanksgiving? Thanks to the Farm Bureau, we have a breakdown.

Great news, Virginia residents: feeding your family for Thanksgiving will cost just $5.06 per person this year, according to a new report from the Farm Bureau.

A traditional meal for 10 adults costs $50.56 for this year's Thanksgiving dinner, and that includes turkey, stuffing, dressing, sweet potatoes, rolls, peas, cranberries, milk, pumpkin pie with whip cream, and a tray of carrots and celery.

Unfortunately, that's actually a significant increase over last year, where the average price for such a meal was $44.02. The price has gone up by $11.44 since 2003, when the Farm Bureau began tracking the average cost of a family's Thanksgiving meal in Virginia.
