Hillary Clinton Opens Up Offices in Arlington, Alexandria

Clinton's push for the White House begins in earnest in Northern Virginia with new offices and phone banks.

With the presidential campaign heating up heading into the final stretch, Hillary Clinton is putting more boots on the ground here in Arlington and Alexandria.

Hillary for Virginia has announced new office openings at two locations in Northern Virginia, one at 6035 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington and another at 6452 Landsdowne Centre Drive in Alexandria, according to a statement.

Virginia Delegate Charniele Herring was on hand for the opening of the office in Alexandria -- called the Fairfax office -- at 6:30 p.m. June 14. Virginia Sen. Barbara Favola will host the opening of the Arlington office at 6 p.m. June 15.

"The Fairfax and Arlington offices will serve as hubs for organizing activity in Northern Virginia to help elect Hillary Clinton and Democrats up and down the ballot in November," the statement notes. "Organizers and volunteers will host phone banks, organizing meetings, and canvasses from the offices as well as from supporters' homes across the region."
