Housing Inspector Accused of Touching Resident Inappropriately

April 20 report:

ROBBERY, 150418035, 3100 block of S. Glebe Road. At 1:00 pm on April 18, unknown suspects assaulted a 29 year-old victim and stolen his money and identification. The suspects fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The description the victim provided was that the suspects are Hispanic males. The investigation is ongoing..

ROBBERY, 150418036, 2300 block of N. 19th Street. At 5:00 am on April 18, three suspects assaulted a 28-year-old victim. The suspects repeatedly punched the victim in the face stole his bicycle and money. All three suspects are described as black males in their mid-20’s. One suspect was described as approximately 6’2, 200 lbs and wearing a black shirt. The second suspect was described as approximately 5’10, 170 lbs and wearing a black tank top. The third suspect was described as approximately 5’10, 200 lbs. and wearing a green and yellow stripped shirt. The investigation is ongoing.

SEXUAL BATTERY, 150414038, 3900 block of S. 8th Street. At approximately 10:30 am on April 14, a housing inspector touched a female resident inappropriately during an inspection. Olaseni Cole, 54, of Upper Marlboro, MD was arrested and charged with sexual battery. He was held without bond.

BURGLARY, 150419017, 1800 block of N. Oakland Street. Between 11:00 am on April 18 to 10:33 am on April 19, an unknown suspect(s) broke into the victim’s shed and stole lawn equipment. There is no suspect(s) description.

April 17 report:

INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT, 150416026, 3100 block of N. 20th Street. At approximately 12:00 pm on April 16, a male victim had his leg accidentally run over by a multi-terrain loader driven by a co-worker. The victim was transported to Fairfax Hospital with a significant leg injury.

ROBBERY, 150416038, 6000 block of Wilson Boulevard. Between 3:00 to 3:15 pm on April 16, a victim and his girlfriend were on the bike path in Upton Hill Park when several Hispanic juvenile males surrounded them. The group took the victim’s bike and punctured the tires with a knife. The subjects proceeded to assault the victim by knocking him to the ground and kicking him numerous times. The investigation is ongoing.
