Identities In Murder-Suicide Case In Pentagon City Released By Police

Arlington County Police identified the man and woman involved in Tuesday's suspected murder-suicide in Pentagon City.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police identified 22-year-old Nadejda Mossor and 37-year-old Jason Han, both of Arlington, as the decedents in the suspected murder-suicide that took place in Pentagon City on Tuesday. They were in a relationship, according to police.

Officers were dispatched around 4:15 p.m. for the report of a possible death in the 500 block of 12th Street S. Before contacting police, a building maintenance man had entered the residence to perform a welfare check on behalf of a family member.

The arriving officers discovered the bodies of an adult male and adult female in a bedroom. They both appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds, according to police. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
