ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police charged a man in connection with an indecent exposure incident that occurred Sunday morning in the Arlington Mill area, according to the daily crime report.

Officers were dispatched around 9:28 a.m., for the report of a disorderly subject at the intersection of Ninth Street South and South Dinwiddie Street. A woman told police she was inside her vehicle when she honked at the suspect, whose vehicle was blocking an exit to the roadway. He got out of his vehicle, yelling at the victim.

At her request, a passerby contacted police and then confronted the suspect, who went to his vehicle and flipped up his license plate. Returning to the victim and passerby, the suspect exposed himself and then fled the scene, according to police.

While investigating the incident, officers were dispatched to another call involving a suspect with the same description, who was acting disorderly in a parking lot located in the 800 block of South Dickerson Street. Police took the man into custody without incident; Zachary Thomas, 32, of no fixed address was charged with indecent exposure.
