2 Indecent Exposures Reported In Bluemont, Shirlington: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — Two reports of indecent exposure last week, one in Bluemont and the other Shirlington, are being investigated by Arlington County Police.

In the first case, officers responded around 5:59 p.m. Tuesday to the 300 block of North Manchester Street for the report of an exposure.

A witness said they saw a man in the area exposing himself, but he fled before police arrived, according to a report. Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect.

Police described the suspect as a white man with blonde hair, who was about 20. He was wearing a gray shirt and green shorts.

On Friday, officers responded around 1:12 p.m to a residential parking garage in the 3000 block of South Randolph Street. Victims said they were in the garage when they spotted a man exposing himself, according to a police report.

The victims then notified an employee, who confronted the man. After the man threatened the employee, he drove away, police say.

The suspect was described as a white man in his 30s, who stood about 5-foot-7, according to ACPD. He was wearing brown or khaki shorts, a blue/gray flannel shirt, and a gray shirt.

A police department spokeswoman said the two incidents appear to be unrelated.
