Injured Patient Rescued From Virginia Square Construction Site

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Fire & EMS personnel responded to a medical emergency at construction site in the Virginia Square area on Wednesday morning, according to an 8:17 a.m. post on the department's official Twitter account.

Units responded to a construction site in the 3400 block of Washington Blvd., where they temporarily closed off the road between Kirkwood Road and N Lincoln St.

Rescue personnel removed the patient from the site and transported him to a nearby hospital, according to a tweet posted at 8:33 a.m. The patient's condition was described as critical.
