Islamic Relief USA to Hold 'A Night for Afghanistan' on Nov. 18

Islamic Relief USA, a nonprofit humanitarian and advocacy organization based in northern Virginia, will hold "A Night for Afghanistan" at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18.

The event will take place at the Sheraton Pentagon city Hotel, located at 900 South Orme St., Arlington. the event will feature Dr. Daoud Nassimi, an Islamic Studies professor and Dr. Nadia Hashimi, a pediatrician and author, and a special musical performance by Qais Essar.

A three-course halal meal will be provided.

Tickets are $30 per individual and $250 per table of 10.
