Join These 2022 Easter Egg Hunts In Arlington

ARLINGTON, VA — Spring is here, ushering in the annual season of Easter festivities, including Easter egg hunts, across Arlington.

Many are free to attend, but check each event to see if registration is required.

Another option for Easter fun is the traditional Easter bunny photo. Round up the family for a photo with the Easter Bunny at Fashion Centre at Pentagon City through April 16. Each child who visits the Easter Bunny will receive a special gift.

Here are some upcoming Easter events for the family in Arlington:

Westover Village Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 9, 10:30 a.m., Cardinal School Fields, 1644 N McKinley Rd., Arlington

• Children eight and under are invited to participate in the Easter egg hunt. The first egg hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. for toddlers. Each age group will have separate times. The Easter Bunny will be making a special appearance. The event is sponsored by the Westover Village Civic Association and Your Westover Merchants. Special thanks to Toby’s Ice Cream & Coffee and Ayers Variety & Hardware.

Neighborhood Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 9, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Woodlawn Park, 1325 N Buchanan St., Arlington

• Join the Woodlawn-Waycroft neighborhood for an egg hunt, weather permitting. There will be egg hunts for younger kids 3 and younger, 4 and older, and 18 months and younger. The Easter Bunny will also pay a visit.

Potomac Overlook Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, April 9-10, 12-17, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., 2845 Marcey Road, Arlington

• The Easter Bunny has prepared an egg hunt at this regional park. Pick up your egg hunt sheet at the nature center and search the park for wooden eggs. Return to the nature center to receive a prize. The cost is $8 and can be paid at the nature center.

Maywood Eggstravaganza 2022: Saturday, April 16, 10 a.m., Thrifton Hill Park, 2814 23rd St. N, Arlington

• Hundreds of eggs will be hidden around the park. Also prepare for sack and egg races for all ages. If your children are hunting on the April 16, drop off a bag of candy or small toys at 3309 23rd St N by April 10.
