Juveniles Armed With Knife Rob Business In Virginia Square: Police

Two juveniles, one holding a knife, robbed a store in the Virginia Square neighborhood of Arlington Tuesday night, according to police.

Arlington County Police were able to find four of the juveniles and detained them. Petitions were obtained for robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony for one of the juveniles, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — Two juveniles, one holding a knife, robbed a store in the Virginia Square neighborhood of Arlington Tuesday night, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

When they arrived at the scene in the 3500 block of Wilson Boulevard around 7:50 p.m. Thursday, police learned from the victim that two juveniles entered the business, stole merchandise as one of the juveniles brandished a knife, and then left the store on foot.

As the juveniles fled the store, several other juveniles who were outside the business also left the area, police said.

The Arlington County Police Department, as a policy, does not identify the businesses that are the target of a crime.

Police were able to find four of the juveniles and detained them. Petitions were obtained for robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony for one of the juveniles, police said.
