Juveniles Flee On Scooters After Attacking Person In Shirlington: Cops

Three juveniles seriously injured a person in Shirlington early Friday morning and then got away on their scooters, Arlington police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — Three juveniles assaulted a person in Shirlington in the early morning hours of Friday and then got away on their scooters, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The victim of the attack was taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries considered serious but non-life threatening, police said.

Shortly before 5 a.m. on Friday, police went to the 2800 block of S. Campbell St. in Shirlington for the report of an assault.

The male victim was walking in the area when three unknown boys approached him and assaulted him, police said.

The suspects then fled on their scooters, according to police. The suspects are described as three Black juveniles wearing all black clothing, police said.
