Police Charge Arlington Man With Breaking And Entering Of Columbia Forest Apartment
An Arlington woman investigating a noise confronted an intruder early Sunday morning in her Columbia Forest Apartment.

ARLINGTON, VA — An Arlington woman confronted an unknown man standing in her Columbia Forest apartment early Sunday morning, according to the daily crime report.
Arlington County Police responded around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday to a late report of a breaking and entering incident that occurred at an apartment in the 1000 block of S. Frederick Street. The victim told police she encountered a man standing in her apartment around 1:30 a.m., after she went to investigate a noise. The man tried to engage her in conversation, but she asked him to leave. The man fled the apartment on foot.
Officers searched the area but failed to locate the man. An investigation by police revealed that the man had forced his way into the victim's apartment. Police located the suspect later in the day and took him into custody without incident.

ACPD charged Silfredo Antonio Castillo Canales, 27, of Arlington, with breaking and entering. He is currently being held without bond.
