Linda's Cafe On Lee Highway Is Closing For Good: Report
The Arlington mainstay reportedly may have Bob & Edith's takeover.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Arlington is saying goodbye to a restaurant that has called the county home for many years: Linda's Cafe, located at 5050 Lee Highway, according to a report.
Arlnow reports that the restaurant has been given 30 days to vacate the premises, and local chain Bob & Edith's Diner may take possession of the restaurant.
Linda's has been there for the last 20 years, and served all-day breakfast and burgers. It will have to close up shop by the end of the month.

The owner believes that the landlord wants him out because he has received a better offer for the property, according to the report.
Linda's is known not just for its food, but for its colorful Twitter account. The account tweeted "#LindasForever" on May 31, the date the owner reportedly got the notice. On June 9, Linda's tweeted that if anyone wanted a Linda's t-shirt, "I'll make them before it's too late!"

The seating is only about 1/3rd of the restaurant. For the one guy who has been asking what the rest of the building consist of, it’s a giant dancefloor!! It’s beyond therapeutic #frolicingwithmywoes
