Local Free Health Clinic Donates Dental Procedures
Non-profits team up to supply dental procedures for local neighbors in need.

This past Saturday, March 25th was a very special day for Culmore Clinic. Named "One of the Best Nonprofits" by Catalogue for Philanthropy, Culmore Clinic is an interfaith, non-profit healthcare clinic offering compassionate and culturally-sensitive medical care, counseling, and specialty referrals to low-income adults at little to no cost in the Bailey’s Crossroads community. Together with over 100 volunteers (including dentists and hygienists) they served approximately 200 patients, offering them services such as routine check-ups to cavity filling and much more. Hope for Tomorrow provided the dental care and the whole program was made possible thanks to Culmore Clinic and their partnership with Hope for Tomorrow, Neighborhood Health and Columbia Baptist Church @ Crossroads.
While one-day programs like this one are priceless for Culmore Clinic patients, their patients need a more consistent and permanent dental home. That is why Culmore Clinic is now working with Neighborhood Health to make their Annandale Dental site a place for our patients to go to regularly.
