Look Up: Air Force Jets To Fly Over DC Region Thursday

Four T-38 Talons from the U.S. Air Force are expected to conduct a flyover Thursday afternoon for a funeral at Arlington National Cemetery.

ARLINGTON, VA — If residents of the Washington, D.C. area look to the skies on Thursday afternoon, they may see a flyover of military aircraft, according to the Air Combat Command (ACC).

Four Air Force T-38 Talon jets are scheduled to fly over the National Capital Region at 1:50 p.m. The formation is part of a funeral at Arlington National Cemetery for retired Air Force Col. George Benoit, according to an ACC spokesman.

The T-38 Talons are part of the 71st Fighter Training Wing at Joint Airbase Langley-Eustus, in Hampton, Virginia.
