Major Defense Contractor Leaving Arlington: Report
One of the largest defense contractors in the United States is reportedly leaving Rosslyn.
ARLINGTON, VA -- BAE Systems Inc. is leaving Arlington County and moving next door to Falls Church, according to a report.
Washington Business Journal reports that the defense contractor has signed a lease at 2941 Fairview Park Drive in Falls Church, and will relocate about 350 employees there by the summer of 2020.
Fairview Park is already home to large defense contractors like Northrop Grumman and General Dynamics. BAE Systems Inc., a subsidiary of the UK-based giant BAE System PLC, had been headquartered in Rosslyn.
