ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested a local woman and charged her with pinning another woman against a dumpster with her car and causing injury, according to the daily crime report.

Officers were dispatched around 5:25 p.m., Saturdays to the 200 block of N. Glebe Road for the report of unknown trouble. When the officers arrived, they learned the victim had been engaged in a verbal dispute and physical altercation earlier in the day with a person who was known to her. The victim had been assaulted but denied prosecution and medical attention at that time.

The verbal dispute continued as the two women traveled together in the suspect's car. When the victim exited the vehicle in the parking lot of a business, the suspect struck her with the vehicle and pinned her against a dumpster. The vehicle then drove away before police arrived.
