Man Attacked After Getting Out Of His Car In Arlington: Police
The man was in the Lyon Park area when two men jumped him.

ARLINGTON, VA -- A man was assaulted after getting out of his car in the Lyon Park neighborhood of Arlington, police say.
The man had just gotten out of his vehicle and was walking in the 2200 block of N. Pershing Drive at around 11 p.m. when he was approached by two men who grabbed him from behind and tried to steal his belongings, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"The victim was able to free himself and run away, however he suffered a non-life threatening laceration during the incident," the report states. "None of the victim’s belongings were stolen."
