Man Caught Peeping In Windows In Arlington: Police

ARLINGTON, VA -- A man was caught peeping in windows and then crouching behind a bush to avoid being seen, police say.

Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of 9th Street S just after 10 p.m. on Saturday to a report of a man peering into windows, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect was observed peeping into a residence and crouching behind a bush to avoid being seen," the report states. "When an arriving officer attempted to make contact with the suspect, he fled on foot. A brief foot pursuit ensued before the suspect was taken into custody without incident."

Police arrested 44-year-old Alexei Rodriguez on a charge of peeping/spying into a dwelling.
