Man in His 60s Is Suspect in Arlington Sexual Battery Case: Police

A look at recent incidents reported by the Arlington County Police, from their crime report released Wednesday:

REPORTS

SEXUAL BATTERY, 150922014, 1500 block of S. Fern Street (see Google map below for approximate location). Between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on September 18, as a female victim was sitting on a bench in the courtyard, a male suspect engaged her in conversation before he grabbed her buttocks and breast. The victim pushed the suspect’s hands away and then returned to her residence. The victim informed an employee several days later who then called the police; however the victim does not wish to prosecute. The suspect was described as a W/M in his 60s with grey hair.

BURGLARY, 150922018, 2200 block of Crystal Drive. Between 11:00 p.m. on September 21 and 9:00 a.m. on September 22, unknown suspect(s) entered the business and removed an undisclosed amount of money from the cashbox. There were no signs of forced entry.

BURGLARY, 150922036, 4900 block of Columbia Pike. Between 10:00 a.m. and 2:10 pm on September 22, unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole electronics. There were no signs of forced entry.
