Man Hospitalized After Refusing To Hand Over Money: Police
A robbery suspect struck a man several times in the Buckingham area Wednesday night after demanding that the victim give him money.
ARLINGTON, VA — A robbery suspect struck a man several times in the Buckingham area Wednesday night after demanding that the victim give him money, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Just before 9 p.m. Wednesday, police were dispatched to the 4100 block of N 3rd Road. When they arrived, police learned that the victim had been near a business in the 300 block of N. Glebe Road when he was approached by the unknown male suspect.

The suspect demanded that the victim give him money, and when the victim refused, the suspect struck him multiple times before he fell to the ground, police said. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
The suspect is an older Hispanic male, about 5-feet, 7-inches tall and carrying a red and black bag, police said.
