Man Hospitalized In Ballston Shooting; 4 Suspects Sought: Police
Arlington County Police are looking for four men who they say shot and robbed a man early Sunday in the Ballston-Virginia Square area.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police detectives are looking for four men involved in a robbery and shooting that took place Sunday morning in the Ballston-Virginia Square neighborhood.
Officers were dispatched around 6:14 a.m. to the 800 block of N. Glebe Road after receiving the report of an assault with weapon. They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and began providing aide, according to police. Emergency medical personnel transported the man to a nearby hospital. Police reported on Monday afternoon that the victim was in stable condition.
Investigators determined that the victim and another man were walking toward a business on Glebe Road when they were approached by for other men. These men pointed firearms the other two men and demanded their property, according to police. The suspects took jewelry and an undetermined sum of money.

As the incident was unfolding, the suspected fired several rounds that struck the victim, as well as two businesses and a resident, police say.
ACPD described the suspects as wearing all black clothing and face coverings. They left the crime scene in a dark colored sedan. Investigators do think this incident was random.
