Man Implying He Had Gun Robs Bank In Ballston: Police

ARLINGTON, VA — A man robbed a bank in the Ballston neighborhood of Arlington Monday afternoon, getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

Shortly before 2 p.m. on Monday, Arlington Police were dispatched to a bank in the 900 block of N. Taylor Street for a bank robbery. The police learned that the man entered the bank, passed a note to the teller demanding money, and implied he had a weapon.

The police said no weapon was seen by anyone else in the bank. The man then fled the bank with cash. No injuries were reported in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set Black male wearing all black clothing.
