Man Pulled From Burning Vehicle On I-66 In Arlington: Police
Police have issued warrants for the driver who was driving the wrong way after fleeing Secret Service, police say.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Police had to pull a man from a burning vehicle after the driver drove the wrong way on Interstate 66 while allegedly attempting to flee Secret Service.
Police responded to an accident in the eastbound lanes of I-66 near the Key Bridge at around 4:41 a.m. on Sunday, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
"Upon arrival, it was determined the suspect failed to yield to a Secret Service officer, entered the eastbound lanes of I-66 traveling westbound and struck another vehicle head-on," the report states. "The driver of the suspect vehicle fled the scene on foot. A perimeter was established and Fairfax County Police Helicopter conducted an aerial search for the suspect with negative results."

The passenger of the vehicle was unable to get out of the vehicle due to the crash.
"Upon seeing flames originating from the vehicle, arriving Arlington County officers pulled the passenger from the vehicle to safety," the report states. "He was transported to George Washington University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries."

The driver of the victim vehicle was taken to Virginia Hospital Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police issued warrants for 28-year-old Victor Ebai of Springfield for felony hit and run and felony eluding.
