Man Taking Out Garbage Attacked By 7 Men In Arlington: Police

The man had to be taken to Virginia Hospital Center.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Police are searching for suspects after a group of seven men ambushed a man taking his trash out in Arlington.

Police were called to Virginia Hospital Center at around 1 a.m. on May 20 to a late report of an assault in the 6100 block of Wilson Boulevard, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.

"Upon arrival, it was determined that earlier in the evening, the victim exited his residence to take the trash out and was approached by 7 unknown male suspects outside," the report states. "The victim was assaulted, resulting in non-life threatening injuries that required medical treatment."

There are no descriptions of the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
