Manhunt Ends In Arlington: Police

UPDATE 10:48 a.m.: Arlington County Police report they have located the woman and have taken her into custody.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Police are searching for a woman who may have stabbed someone in the Westover neighborhood of Arlington Friday morning.

Police responded to a report of a stabbing between two individuals who knew each other in the 5700 block of Washington Boulevard, according to an Arlington County Police Department tweet just before 9 a.m.

"Suspect is still outstanding, one victim transported to the hospital," police said. "This is an ongoing investigation and police remain onscene [sic]."

Police describe the suspect as a white woman with red hair, 28 years old, and between 5'5" and 5'8" weighing 130 pounds. She was wearing gray sweatpants and a sweatshirt.
