Metro Riders Furious After Disabled Rosslyn Train Offloads for 2nd Day in a Row
A Silver Line train had a door problem during rush hour Wednesday morning.
ARLINGTON, VA — It's the second day in a row that a disabled Metro train has had to offload in Rosslyn in the middle of rush hour, and riders are not happy.
According to Metro, a Silver Line train bound for Largo offloaded at Rosslyn due to a door problem at around 8:30 a.m.
Complaints about the Metro system in general, ranging from safety to service itself, have surged in the past year as Metro has undergone a SafeTrack program to fix chronic problems throughout the system. Metro has proposed cutting back on service hours to deal with budget problems.
