Million-Dollar Lottery Ticket Bought At Arlington 7-Eleven

An Arlington resident may be a new millionaire. A wining ticket for the Virginia's New Year's Millionaire Raffle was sold at an area store.

ARLINGTON, VA -- Check your pockets. You may have bought one of the three $1 million winning tickets in the Virginia Lottery's New Year's Millionaire Raffle. One of those tickets was sold at an Arlington location.

The Virginia Lottery drew numbers for Virginia’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle on Wednesday, Jan. 1, and three tickets — including one bought in Arlington — won the top prize of $1 million after taxes:

  • Ticket #072100 was bought at Getty Mart, 4100 George Washington Highway, Portsmouth.
  • Ticket #149613 was bought at 7-Eleven, 4223 North Fairfax Drive, Arlington.
  • Ticket #182280 was bought at Wawa, 720 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake.

If you didn't win the $1 million, check your ticket again. One of the five tickets that won $100,000 was bought in Arlington as well:

  • Ticket #003581 was bought at Harris-Teeter, 900 Army Navy Drive, Arlington.
  • Ticket #083501 was bought at Sheetz, 1574 Martinsburg Pike, Winchester.
  • Ticket #139631 was bought at Food Lion, 1100 Courthouse Road, Midlothian.
  • Ticket #227336 was bought at I-95 Citgo, 5416 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg.
  • Ticket #328806 was bought at Gobble Stop, 2771 Virginia Avenue, Narrows.

An additional 500 tickets were drawn and those tickets earned their owners $500 each. Those numbers can be found on the Virginia Lottery’s website.
