Mom, 2 Kids Swept Into Raging Waters In Arlington: Report

Fortunately, they were able to escape the dangerous situation.

ARLINGTON, VA -- A mom and her two kids are safe after a scary situation when they were swept into raging waters at a park in Arlington recently.

The Arlington County Fire Department posted video (embedded below) of the bridge where waters rose and rushed over, but didn't indicate where the video was taken.

"A good reminder today to be wary of moving water, as a mom & her 2 kids were swept into water when it rose and ran over bridge," ACFD tweeted. "All got out & were in good condition, no transports. Remember, even a few inches of rushing water can be deceivingly powerful."
