Moped Driver Killed on Glebe Road: Police
An Alexandria man lost control of his moped and crashed into a traffic sign on Saturday, police say.

ARLINGTON, VA — A moped driver died after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a traffic sign in the median on Glebe Road over the weekend, police say.
Police were called to the 2400 block of S. Glebe Road at around 5:40 p.m. on April 22 to a report of a single-vehicle crash involving a moped, according to a report from the Arlington County Police Department.
Arlington County Fire Department medics administered CPR on 45-year-old Virgiliro Lopez before transporting him to George Washington University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
