More Free Donuts In Arlington On Friday

ARLINGTON, VA — Duck Donuts is already offering a free-donut deal on National Donut Day this Friday, but another donut chain is providing an opportunity for Arlington residents to get free sweets.

Sugar Shack, which has a location at 1014 S. Glebe Road, will "give away a free Donuts4Good card to anyone who makes a purchase, which they can give away to someone they know who has done a good deed," according to a company statement.

"Sugar Shack launched its Donuts for Doing Good Campaign (#Donuts4Good) on National Donut Day 2015, introducing Donuts4Good cards to be given as a way of thanking people for being extra nice," the statement adds. "Sugar Shack provides the cards year round to first responders, as well as Sugar Shack staff, to share with people they catch in the act of doing good. Customers may purchase the cards to give away in recognition of special good deeds. Sugar Shack is excited to bring the campaign to its first DC location in the Shaw neighborhood, which is coming this summer."

In addition, Sugar Shack will extend their hours on Friday, June 2 from 6 a.m. until midnight.
