The Mount Vernon Community School PTA (Parent Teacher Association) will host a Garden Party and Bazaar at the school playspace on Saturday, May 7 from 8am-1pm. The event is free and open to the public. Pack a picnic and bring the whole family to enjoy a lovely morning on our community playground.
Families can shop for plants and flowers for Mother’s Day. Organic heirloom seedlings, plants and bouquets of flowers will be available for purchase. You can also enjoy lemonade, baked goods, raffled prizes, children’s crafts, music and more! Proceeds from the event will benefit the MVCS Playground Revitalization Fund.
A tour of the playspace will be offered at 11am, detailing plans for revitalizing the space. Come find out what is in store for this valuable local resource.
