Naked Man Walks Down Columbia Pike, Is Arrested: Police
Police say the man, who was not identified, was going through a mental health crisis at the time.
ARLINGTON, VA — A naked man dealing with a mental health issue caused a stir on Columbia Pike over the weekend, walking down the middle of the road before police took him into custody.
Police say the man, who was not identified, was walking in the 2400 block of Columbia Pike at around 5:37 p.m. on Saturday, July 29.
"Upon arrival, officers made contact with the subject and took him into custody without incident," according to the police report. "The subject was transported to Virginia Hospital Center on an emergency custody order."
