Arlington Coroner Determined What Killed 2 People Found Dead In Ashton Heights

Arlington County's Office of the Coroner determined that narcotics played a factor in the deaths of two people found in Ashton Heights.

ARLINGTON, VA — After examining the bodies of a man and woman found deceased in an Ashton Heights apartment building in December, the Arlington County Office of the Chief Medical examiner determined the deaths were accidental and narcotics-related, according to a police release.

Arlington County Police officers were dispatched around 12:01 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2021, for the report of a cardiac arrest at a residence in the 3800 block of 6th St. North in the Ashton Heights neighborhood. Police found a deceased man and woman inside a the residence there.
