Narcotics, Robbery Charges Filed After Pentagon City Arrest

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police arrested a D.C. man Saturday evening in connection with a robbery at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, according to the daily crime report.

Officers responded around 6:41 p.m. for the report of a disorderly subject inside a business at the shopping center. An employee told police that they had confronted a man whom they observed entering the store for a second time and concealing merchandise. The employee identified the man for police, who they then took into custody as he was boarding a bus. Police say the man was in possession of narcotics at the time of his arrest.

ACPD charged Arvid Thomas, 44, of Washington, D.C. with robbery, possession of a Schedule I/II controlled substance, and obstruction of justice. Police also served Thomas with two outstanding warrants from Fairfax County. He is being held without bond.
