New Deli To Open In Courthouse Plaza: Reports
A new deli is set to replace the closed City Market & Deli in Courthouse Plaza, potentially as soon as this fall.

ARLINGTON, VA — A new deli is set to replace the shuttered City Market & Deli in Courthouse Plaza and may open as soon as this fall, according to the local website ARLNow.
Chelsea Market & Deli will move into the building at 2250 Clarendon Blvd. The deli is located in the plaza that holds Starbucks, Clarendon Nail Spa, Courthaus Social and other restaurants and shops.
The new deli will serve breakfast foods, sandwiches, pizza, salads and ethnic cuisine like Jamaican food. The owner, Shawn Kim, told ARLNow they are adding a full kitchen and a pizza oven. They also filed an application with Virginia ABC to serve beer and wine.

Kim says he hopes the market will open sometime in October, but the opening date is dependent on how permitting and construction goes. He envisions the deli will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
