New Restaurant 'Wilson Hardware' To Open In Clarendon

ARLINGTON, VA — A new restaurant serving contemporary American fare alongside a creative cocktail menu called Wilson Hardware will open late this summer in Clarendon.

The 7,000-square foot bar and lounge includes a chicly designed patio and rooftop and three distinct bar areas. Patrons can expect a trendy atmosphere with stylish touches such as custom metal chandeliers, liquid metal mirrors and a candle wall.

The rooftop will feature high tables and two large flat-screen televisions, greenery hanging from the trellis-like covering and a 17-foot long bar.

“Clarendon has definitely been overdue for a place like Wilson Hardware, so we’re thrilled to be in the neighborhood,” co-owner Jad Bouchebel said in a statement. “We know how important the history of this landmark is and look forward to welcoming new faces to our restaurant.”

Wilson Hardware is named as an homage to Virginia Hardware, the hardware shop that occupied the storefront location on Wilson from the early 1960s until 2005, according to a press release.
