New Taco Joint Opens In Arlington

ARLINGTON, VA -- A new Mexican pop-up restaurant opened its doors at Pentagon Row on Wednesday.

Gorilla Taco will be open Wednesdays through Sundays starting this week and lasting until December 2018, according to a statement from the company.

"Gorilla Taco is a chef driven pop up concept that serves authentic street tacos with a Jalisco flair, where the recipes originated in Mexico," reads the statement. "The limited menu is prepared fresh and will feature five to seven types of tacos daily. All salsas are house made with pico de gallo, tomatillo and chile de arbol salsas as well as inferno salsa which is 'Jalisco' spicy.

"Gorilla Taco will also have a bar that will feature Modelo Negro and Pacifico as well as a house made margarita on tap," it continues. "The menu will also offer two types of frozen margaritas, traditional and watermelon, and will have a skinny version on the rocks."

Gorilla Taco is located near its sister restaurant, Basic Burger, which opened recently at Pentagon Row.
