New Women's Clothing Store Opens in Shirlington

A new clothing store has opened in Shirlington Village over the weekend, and just at the right time, with temperatures taking a dip.

Called Knits Etc., the store carries scarves, sweaters, dresses, hats, purses and more. The store replaces Bloomers, which recently closed but still retains its original store in Old Town.

The Shirlington location is one of five in the metro DC area.
