Paint Your Heart Out Opens New Studio In Shirlington: Grand Opening Details
The art studio brings pottery and clay hand-building to South Arlington with grand opening raffles and giveaways on Saturday.

ARLINGTON, VA — Paint Your Heart Out, offering pottery, hand-building with clay, is celebrating its grand opening be Saturday, March 21 at The Village at Shirlington.
The 1,776-square-foot studio is located at 2780 S. Arlington Mill Road and marks its second location in the DMV. The first location opened in Occoquan in 2000.
During the grand opening, attendees can participate in a raffle for a $50 gift card as well as a free mug to decorate with a $50 purchase for the first 50 customers.

Owners Nikki Vandover and Theresa Spoth have been working together for more than 10 years.
Spoth began painting at Paint Your Heart Out when she was young and later joined as staff at the Occoquan location.

“We love creating things by hand and opening doors to artistic discovery,” she said. “For us, art is about sparking imagination, building community, and creating moments of joy. We are excited for the Shirlington community to gather, experiment, and express themselves through art. We chose Shirlington Village for its welcoming, walkable community which reminds us of Occoquan.”
Paint Your Heart Out will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday-Sunday. Walk-ins and reservations are welcome. Call 703-595-9665 to make a reservation.
