Palette 22: Art, Tapas-Style Small Plates Create Unique Experience
Guests at Palette 22 in Shirlington can dine in a gallery-like setting and interact with artists whose works are on display.

ARLINGTON, VA — Since its opening in February 2016, Shirlington’s Palette 22 has stood out from other restaurants by blending food, art, and fun in a unique, gallery-like setting. Guests can even interact with in-house artists, whose works are available for purchase.
“Our lively neighborhood spot offers market-driven, globally-inspired small plates, all while showcasing local talent, including painters, jewelry-makers, and sculptors,” Scott Bogue, Palette 22’s general manager, told Patch recently.
Palette 22 is one of the 60 businesses participating in the 2024 Arlington Restaurant Week, which runs from Oct. 14-21.

“Guests can enjoy a creative and delicious dining experience by choosing as many menu items as they like, including dessert,” Bogue said. “From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, a bottomless lunch is available for $28.22 per person. For dinner, guests can indulge in a bottomless experience for $38.22 per person.”
During Restaurant Week, diners can also add a glass of sangria or select wine or beer. “The house-made Signature Sangria is available for $5.22 and comes in red or white, made with fresh juices, gin, Spanish brandy, apples, and citrus. Wine options are priced at $6.22 and include Chardonnay, Proverb Rosé, Diora ‘La Belle Fête,’ and Cabernet Sauvignon. Draft beers are also available for $6.22, with options like IPA (Stone) or Blonde and Guinness,” Bogue said.
