Passenger Pepper Sprays Rideshare Driver In Arlington: Police
A rideshare driver was pepper sprayed by a "combative" passenger Sunday while he was driving on S. Glebe Road in Arlington, police said.

ARLINGTON, VA — A rideshare driver was pepper sprayed by a "combative" passenger Sunday afternoon while he was driving on S. Glebe Road, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
At about 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, police were dispatched to the 3600 block of S. Glebe Road near Route 1 in response to a report of an assault.
The victim was working as a rideshare driver when a female passenger became "combative and pepper sprayed him," police said. The man was treated on the scene by medics.

The passenger is described as a light-skinned, possibly mixed-race female with dark hair, who is about 5-feet, 7-inches tall and 140 pounds, police said. She was wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt at the time of the incident, according to police.
