Ride-Share Driver Attacked, Vehicle Stolen By Passengers
A ride-share driver was attacked early Tuesday morning by his passengers, according to the daily crime report.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investing the robbery and assault of a ride-share driver by his passengers that took place early Tuesday morning on Lee Highway, according to the daily crime report.
Officers were dispatched around 3:55 a.m., for the report of a robbery in the 2500 block of Lee Highway. Arriving on the scene, they determined the victim was a ride-share driver who had been involved in a verbal dispute with three passengers inside his vehicle. When the vehicle had come to the end of its trip, the passengers assaulted the driver and pulled him out of the vehicle to continue assaulting him. The passengers then fled the scene in the driver's vehicle.
ACPD canvassed the area and were able to recover the vehicle later nearby. The driver was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police described the three suspects as follows:
- Suspect one - A 25-30-year-old Black man, standing 5-foot-8, with an athletic build and short black hair. He was wearing a black and yellow cloth mask
- Suspect two - A 25-30-year-old Hispanic man, standing 5-foot-7, with a stocky build and short hair. He was wearing a black cloth mask.
- Suspect three -A 20-30-year-old Black woman, standing 5-foot-9, with long braided hair and a bulky build. She was wearing a black cloth face mask.
This case remains under investigation.
