Pedestrian Injured In Hit-And-Run Crash; Driver Of Red Sedan Sought
Arlington County Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred Thursday night in Maywood, leaving a pedestrian injured.

ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County Police are investigating a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in the Maywood neighborhood on Thursday night.
Around 7:12 p.m., officers responede to the scene of the crash in the 3300 block of 22nd St. N. An adult male was critically injured after being struck by a red sedan. He was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries. As of midday Friday, he remains hospitalized in critical condidtion.
"The driver of the striking vehicle fled in a red sedan, possibly a Toyota Prius," an ACPD spokeswoman told Patch on Friday. "Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash."

ACPD is asking residents in the Maywood area to review their home surveillance camera to see if they have photos or video of the red sedan. Members of the public who have photos or videos relevant to this case can submit them using ACPD's evidence submission portal.
