Peeping Incident In Crystal City Under Investigation: Report

ARLINGTON, VA — A woman reported seeing a man looking into the window of her Crystal City residence Monday afternoon, according to the Arlington County Police Department's daily crime report.

Officers responded around 4:56 p.m. to the 300 block of 10th Street South for the report of a suspicious person. Investigators said a woman saw an unknown man with a cellphone in his hand looking into the window of her residence. When the victim went out to investigate, the man ran away.

The incident occurred about 20 to 30 minutes before police arrived.

Police described the suspect as a Black man, standing about 5-foot-8 and weighing 135 pounds. He was wearing a dark short-sleeve shirt, dark shorts and dark shoes. This remains an ongoing investigation.
