Pentagon City's Fashion Centre is Getting 3 New Stores Soon

The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City will be welcoming a number of new shops this spring as part of its expansive renovation project.

The mall's newest entries are Garrett Popcorn Shops, Shake Shack and NYX Professional Makeup, which open in a matter of weeks or even days, according to a statement from Simon, the retail real estate company that owns the Fashion Centre.

This will be the 50th store location for Garrett Popcorn Shops, which will be located at the Metro level near Au Bon Pain in the spot previously occupied by diner chain Johnny Rockets. The store is known for producing popcorn from large copper kettles in a variety of flavors.

Shake Shack will also be opening its fifth location in the Washington, D.C. area at the mall later this month. The fast-growing New York City fast food chain offers burgers, hot dogs and, of course, shakes.

In addition, NYX Professional Makeup will be opening April 29 on the ground level near Macy's. The makeup store will sell a variety of brand-name beauty supplies.

The Fashion Centre is in the midst of a 50,000-square-foot expansion project, including a brand new entrance and interior improvements like new elevators and escalators.
