Pet Of The Week: Walker Ain't Nothing But A Hound Dog

Walker is an adorable 5-year-old hound mix looking for his forever home.

ARLINGTON, VA — Walker is an adorable, friendly pup who loves adventures and being near his favorite people. He came to us from a rescue in West Virginia after his owner moved and couldn't keep him. He is now here at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington and looking for a home of his own.

Walker's foster family told us: "We have loved foster Walker, the most handsome, obedient and well groomed hound! From day one to day seven, Walker transformed into a confident, fun-loving dog. He loves soft beds, walks around the neighborhood, car rides, and treats. When we wake up in the morning, he will raise one paw and stare at you with so much love — it's addicting! I cannot say how much I will miss him, we have never seen a nicer boy in the whole wide world."

If you are interested in adopting Walker, please schedule an appointment to meet him at the shelter.
