‘Pink In The Park’ Cherry Blossom Series Returns To National Landing

Free spring events featuring art, music, and a poolside mermaid return to Arlington through April

The National Landing Business Improvement District, in partnership with Amazon and the National Cherry Blossom Festival, is bringing the 2026 cherry blossom season across the Potomac with its "Pink in the Park" event series.

ARLINGTON, VA – The National Landing Business Improvement District, in partnership with Amazon and the National Cherry Blossom Festival, announced the return of "Pink in the Park" to celebrate the 2026 cherry blossom season.

The free event series brings the festival across the Potomac River to Arlington, featuring cultural programming, live music, and local art installations at Water Park and Metropolitan Park.

“As the area continues to evolve, Pink in the Park brings people together through art, music and community, reflecting the unique spirit of National Landing and the DC region,” said Tracy Sayegh Gabriel, president and CEO of the National Landing BID.

The celebration includes the following scheduled events:

  • March 21: Pink in the Pool at Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The family-friendly event features a leisure pool filled with pink decor, a poolside mermaid, and craft stations for origami and lantern decorating. Advance registration via Eventbrite is required.
  • March 26, April 2, and April 9: Pink Beats at Water Park from 5 to 8 p.m. This outdoor happy hour series features local DJs and performances by dancers in cherry blossom attire. Spring-themed food and drink specials will be available for purchase from park vendors.
  • April 10: Art of Pink at Metropolitan Park from 5 to 10 p.m. This after-hours showcase features "BLOOM," an exhibition of more than 50 local artists. The event includes a live mural competition, DJ sets, and art activities hosted in the Amazon HQ2 lobbies and the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington’s Innovation Studio.

Patrick Phillippi, Amazon’s head of community engagement for the National Capital Region, said the company is proud to spotlight local creativity at Metropolitan Park.
