Police: 4 Face Charges of Shoplifting in Bailey's Crossroads
Police were called Wednesday morning, after a shopper noticed suspicious activity, police said.

Fairfax County Police arrested four suspects who they say were shoplifting Wednesday morning at Crossroads Center shopping center in Bailey’s Crossroads in Fairfax County. The shopping center is home to Bed, Bath & Beyond, Marshall’s, Old Navy and other stores.

The suspects are residents of Prince George’s County, Md., according to police.
Officers responded Wednesday morning for a report of a ”larceny in progress,” after a shopper noticed four people, all working together to conceal merchandise, police said, remove it from the store and take it to a vehicle in the parking lot.

Officers located the suspects and the vehicle. The subsequent investigation revealed stolen merchandise in the vehicle, from various stores in the shopping center, totaling more than $2,500, police said.
All four suspects were arrested.
Sherry Box, 31, Chantelle Bloomfield, 24 and Patricia Hill, 35, all of Prince Georges County, Maryland, were charged with grand larceny and possession of burglarious tools. Joseph Tawiar, 38, also of Prince Georges County, was charged with grand larceny.
