Traffic was diverted onto Key Bridge before the truck was towed away and all lanes reopened at approximately 4:10 p.m.
Arlington County sent out an alert about the incident at 3:30 p.m. and worked with the National Park Service to divert traffic and get the truck moved. Tractor trailers are supposed to be banned from the Parkway unless they have a special permit.
